Las Vegas
Things I did in Vegas:
Night 1 Sunday
1. Met up with Alika Freitas at the airport.
2. Checked in at the Luxor.
3. Ate at In and Out Burger.
4. Skated Anthem Skatepark and ate shit on a rock at the bottom of the bowl.
5. Bought a couple of Pabst tall boys. (It's legal to drink on the Vegas strip).
6. Went to see Motley Crue at the Hardrock Hotel
Day 2 Monday
1. Ate breakfast at the Red White and Blue restaurant (belgian waffle, vanilla anglaise sauce, side order bacon, and coffee).
2. Worked from 11am-6pm. Met up with some fellow Hawaii guys Dave Miyataki (The Hundreds) and Ryan Kingman (Stance).
3. Had lunch with the boss and his friends from China at the China Garden.
4. Cruised thru all the casinos between the Mandalay and the Cosmopolitan
5. Ate the best sashimi and sliders at the City Walk
6. Grabbed a 3 pack of Pabst tall boys at the CVS store and called it a night.
Day 3 Tuesday
1. Alf and I met Russ Pope for breakfast at the Red White and Blue restaurant.
2. Worked for a couple of hours
3. Alf, Russ, and I caught the most expensive cab ride to the Freemont downtown
4. Took a tour of the El Cortez Hotel made famous by the infamous Bugsy Seigel
5. Ate lunch at the Mexi Cuban restaurant
6. Had a tall boy and talked story with Russ before making a decision on what to do next.
7. Skipped out on the free concerts, booksignings, and industry events going on and spent Valentine's Day at P.F. Changs with Russ. Hahahaha!
Day 4 Wednesday
1. Woke up at 5:30 and grabbed Starbucks
2. Headed to the airport where I ran into my old boss James Kodama of Island Snow as well Chris Kam from Kicks Hawaii.
3. Jumped on my Hawaiian Airlines flight and 6 hours later was back at in paradise!
