Avenue & Son Shanghai

 The least likeliest of places to find one of China's best skate shops.

Tucked away on the second floor of what seems to be an abandoned building is Avenue & Son.

Avenue & Son is owned and operated by three skateboarders. Jeremy, Stephen, and Dan. On this particular day they were out filming so we didn't get to meet them. A couple days later we set up an interview with Bobby Hundreds and we were able to visit again and meet them in person. Bobby did a great write up on The Hundreds site that your can read HERE.

This is our gracious host Kosi. She's a skateboarder thru and thru and we really appreciated her kindness and we were all inspired by her story. 

Great attention to detail and great use of space. This reminds me of the old KICKS / Hawaii shop that used to be upstairs on Makaloa St.
