The least likeliest of places to find one of China's best skate shops. |
Tucked away on the second floor of what seems to be an abandoned building is Avenue & Son. |
Avenue & Son is owned and operated by three skateboarders. Jeremy, Stephen, and Dan. On this particular day they were out filming so we didn't get to meet them. A couple days later we set up an interview with Bobby Hundreds and we were able to visit again and meet them in person. Bobby did a great write up on The Hundreds site that your can read HERE. |
This is our gracious host Kosi. She's a skateboarder thru and thru and we really appreciated her kindness and we were all inspired by her story. |
Great attention to detail and great use of space. This reminds me of the old KICKS / Hawaii shop that used to be upstairs on Makaloa St. |
Mahalo Kosi and Avenue & Son for your guys hospitality and for doing such a great job with your shop! |
